TYPE EG - atea-WK Point of Use Scrubber

The atea-WK Point Of Use Scrubber was designed specially for use in tools where toxic, corrosive and odorous gases are released. The Point of Use gas scrubbers are used mainly for the absorption of strong acids or caustic.

Inside the Point Of Use Scrubber the contaminated exhaust air is brought into contact with an aqueous absorption solution. To achieve a high efficiency it is important to ensure a large interfacial area between the air and the liquid. This is achieved by distributing the liquid over a packed bed.
