Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer (TNV) - Process

The pollution loaded waste air is drawn by the process fan (1), preheated by the integrated heat exchanger (2), and then heated up to the reaction temperature through the cone burner (3) .

In the combustion chamber (4) the pollutants are converted to CO2 and H2O. The residence time falls between 0,6 s and 1,5 s, depending on the application.

The purified gas streams over the integrated heat exchanger (2) and is cooled down.

The residual heat of the purified gas can be extracted in an external heat exchanger (5), by converting it into secondary heat, by heating thermal oil, hot water, warm water, steam and hot air.

The pure gas then leaves through the stack (6) into the atmosphere.
